To celebrate 70th birthday on earth amidst its difficulties and life vicissitude is not a bed of rose. Even the Psalmist says, ‘The length of our days is seventy years--or eighty, for those who are strong’ (Ps.90:10). Thus, the entire clergy and laity of the diocese of Oyo leave no stone unturned as they prepared for, and celebrated our inimitable Monsignors. The programme which took place today, the 16th November, 2013 at Our Lady of the Assumption Cathedral, Oyo has been earmarked to round off the Year of Faith in the Diocese of Oyo on the Diocesan level; while it will be concluded on parish level on the 24th of November, 2013, the Solemnity of Christ the King.
