31st July, 2017 is a remarkable day for all Catholic faithful in Saki Deanery especially the Members of Nigeria Federation of Catholic Students (NFCS) TOPS chapter who witnessed the Celebration of the Holy Mass at the permanent site of Saint Anselm Catholic Chaplaincy is situated within the Oke-Ogun Polytechnic, Saki.


In his sermon the homilist, Rev. Fr. Joshua Benedict advised the students to always reflect on the slogan of the NFCS “living the faith”. He also urged them to learn from Saint Ignatius of Loyola who got converted from reading worldly books to reading books about Jesus and the Saints.


Fr. Joshua Admonished everybody present to work towards becoming the mustard seed that talked about in the Gospel of Matthew (Matt. 13:31-32); so that they can provide shelter for people who are wandering about in the world through good deeds.


The Chief Celebrant and the Dean of Saki Deanery, Very Rev. Fr. Michael Eke CMF praised the Students and their Chaplain after which he prayed the good Lord to continue to use them as instruments of evangelization.


May God who has begun this marvelous work sustain us all in the part that leads to salvation.
