The will of Christ is that the Gospel reaches the ends of the world (Cf. Matt. 28:19). It is therefore fitting that where people gather for worship should be conducive for the presence of God and for prayer. This is the motive behind some of the developmental projects in St Peter Catholic Church, Sabo, Oyo, in spite of the challenges posed by Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The church has purchased and installed a beautiful tabernacle which shall be blessed soon. Also, the sanctuary, and the sacristy have been tiled. The whole church structure has also been painted. The rectory now has a face-lift with installation of casement windows and a repainting.
Not to us Lord, not to us but to your name we give the glory (Ps.115:1) for the success recorded. We thank our bishop, Most Rev. Emmanuel Adetoyese Badejo for his paternal support and encouragement, and Rev. Fr. Philip Onifade (Priest in-charge). The efforts of the parishioners and all our benefactors cannot go unnoticed. May God reward everyone.
